Cement type and properties

A-Cement Degerhamn is a Portland cement manufactured in the Degerhamn plant. It has normal early strength and high standard strength and conforms to the strength class 52.5 N. A-Cement can be used in most concrete applications and due to a low alkali and tricalcium aluminate content it gives improved sulfate resistance and resistance against harmful alkali silica reactions.

Standards and Control

A-Cement Degerhamn fulfills the requirements for sulfate resisting Portland cement type SR 3 in EN 197-1 Cement-Part 1: Composition, specifications and conformity criteria for common cements. Notified product certification body No 0402 (SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden) has issued the certificate of constancy of performance with certificate No. 0402 - CPR - SC0396-16. The number of Declaration of Performance is 0402-DoP-SE11-SC0396-16.
