Pebbles in the size range of 8-16 mm

Our pebbles 8-16 mm. are red/brown stones that are incredibly naturally beautiful. These pebbles are sourced in Denmark and are therefore a classic, attractive stone. Pebbles in this size are commonly used for driveways, as they do not get stuck in car tires, and their natural color variation complements many areas where a connection to the surrounding nature is desired.

A beautiful stone in natural colors

Natural colors are often associated with brown shades, and that is exactly what you get here. Therefore, these stones are fantastic if you live near a natural area where light stones or chippings might look out of place. Perfect natural stone for driveways

The size range of 8-16 mm is ideal for driveways, as the stones do not get stuck in car tires. At the same time, they are not too large to be uncomfortable to walk on. The size of the stones is always measured at their narrowest point, so the largest stones in this mix can easily measure up to 4 cm on their longest side.

This size is by far the most popular, as it looks great over large areas such as gravel roads and driveways.

Although pebbles are primarily used in driveways, they naturally also work well in garden environments. However, for pathways, we recommend our pebbles in the 4-8 mm size if you want the same color variation.

Recommendations for laying

We recommend laying pebbles in a 5-6 cm layer when used in a driveway. A thicker layer could cause cars to get stuck. If you have leftovers, it is better to save them for refilling later. Once laid, they are easy to rake, and doing so regularly will also make it harder for weeds to grow. Along house walls and in areas without traffic, it may be a good idea to lay a weed barrier.

For the base layer, we always recommend using a good layer of stabilized gravel. The heavier the equipment using the area, the thicker the layer should be.

Here, you can choose forklift delivery or crane delivery, which can make the job a bit easier when spreading the stones. In many areas of the country, you can also opt for delivery within a few business days.
