Our fill sand has many uses and is often used as sand for paving stones, as it contains a good amount of clay. This makes it perfect for compacting firmly, either with a plate compactor or a roller. This is very important when laying paving stones to ensure that they don't become uneven over time.

Typically, when laying paving stones, you first spread a layer of road base. The thickness of the layer depends on the purpose; the greater the weight, the more road base you need.

Once you have made a good foundation, the fill sand is used for leveling. Therefore, you should calculate 6-7 cm of fill sand, which will compress to about 5 cm after compacting. Then, it's just a matter of laying the paving stones and adding Jointing sand.

Fill sand is also suitable for constructing a sand cushion.
