Cobble Stones 80-120 mm are the most commonly used and suitable stone type for traditional cobblestone paving (known as “knoldebro”).

We offer these stunning Nordic cobble stones in the size range of 80-120 mm. These stones have a fantastic color variation that stands out particularly when wet. Cobble stones are typically used for paving/knoldebro, and unlike many other paving types, this style only becomes more attractive over time. Cobblestone paving gives an authentic and classic look, and we are seeing a growing popularity for these types of historic pavings. Cobble stones bring nature closer and work wonderfully around fire pits and courtyard environments.

Laying Cobble Stones

Cobble stones can withstand heavy loads, and unevenness is not as visible as it would be with regular paving slabs. However, it is always a good idea to lay a foundation of stabilized gravel. The thicker the layer, the greater the weight it can support. We recommend placing the stones in paving sand or laying gravel, which makes it easier to achieve a level surface. Each stone should be turned and positioned to find the flattest side. It takes time, but it’s worth the effort. The small irregularities, color variations, and different sizes create a beautiful visual effect.

Delivery of Cobble Stones

We deliver these cobble stones throughout Denmark, with free delivery to locations with fixed bridge connections. All deliveries are made in Bigbags of either 1000 or 1600 kg. They are practical, allowing you to work efficiently and avoid unnecessary mess.

In addition to our standard delivery, we also offer forklift and crane delivery. This is ideal if you need them placed closer to the worksite or lifted over a hedge or fence.
