North Sea cobbles in the size range of 32-60 mm

The size of 32-60 mm is measured on the stone's shortest side, making it a relatively large type of stone officially known as "cobbles." These beautiful sea stones have rounded shapes because, over thousands of years, they have been smoothed by the water in the sea where they originate. This gives them a very calm appearance, and combined with their size, it adds depth and warmth that will influence the entire garden. The unique red-brown color is found in only a few places in Denmark and stands out even more in damp weather.

• North Sea pebbles 16-32 mm: A stone type suitable for garden beds or driveways where a slightly coarser look is desired.

How thick a layer of sea stones should you plan for?

These sea stones, also called sea cobbles, measure 32-60 mm on the shortest side, making them a relatively large stone. Therefore, a layer of approximately 10 cm is needed to properly cover the base. This means that 1 m³ will cover an area of about 10 m².

Due to their size, you won’t need to refill the area where they are placed. They stay in place, and dogs and cats will not be able to dig through them or spread them to other areas. In fact, animals generally do not like to walk on areas with large stones, so they can be advantageously used where you want to prevent this.

Delivery of sea cobbles

We can deliver sea cobbles throughout Denmark, always in practical Maxibags, which are large big bags that make handling easy and convenient. They can be placed according to your wishes, making the work as simple as possible. A Maxibag contains either 500 kg, 1,000 kg or 1 m³, offering a better price per kilogram when choosing the latter.

Standard delivery to "sidewalk / driveway"

Our standard "sidewalk / driveway" delivery is included in the price. Here, your Maxibag is placed at the entrance to your driveway or on the sidewalk by your house. You can, of course, describe exactly where it should be placed so that it doesn’t obstruct your vehicle or anything else. This can be done in the comment field that appears later in the purchase process.

Delivery with forklift

Forklift delivery can be a huge advantage if you want your big bag delivered to an area where our large trucks cannot reach. This could be in a summerhouse area or a garden association. If you have a long driveway, we can also transport it as far onto your property as physically possible. However, it is important to be aware that a forklift is very heavy, so we do not drive over paving stones, grass, or other sensitive areas where we assess that the forklift could cause damage.

Our forklifts measure 2.5 meters in width and are 2.8 meters high.

Delivery with crane

If you want your Maxibag delivered over a hedge or fence, you should choose this delivery method. In many cases, these stones are used in garden projects, and by choosing crane delivery, you can save many trips with a wheelbarrow and even have the large big bag placed precisely in the bed where the stones are needed, so you just have to cut the bag open. It couldn’t be easier.

Keep in mind that large crane trucks require ample space. From the main road to the final address, there must be a clear height of 4.5 meters and a width of 4 meters. The crane can extend a Maxibag 7-8 meters away from the truck.
