White Stones
At Maxibag.dk we offer a wide range of stones in the white family. Each variant has its own characteristics – but what they have in common is that the overall look is bright and attractive.
All the stones in this category come from Denmark and are delivered in maxibags of 1000 kg and 1500 kg. Read more about the individual variants on the product pages, or get a general overview in the text further down the page.
Please note: The size of the stones is always stated by the narrowest dimension.
Beautiful stones with a bright look
Our white stones are a mix of white limestone (approx. 50%) and black/grey natural stones. The high proportion of limestone gives a very bright look, and the stones are extremely popular because the neutral play of colours suits most house walls and surroundings. That is why you will find these stones in both towns and rural areas.
Stones with such a high lime content are only found along the coast of East Jutland, and at Maxibag.dk we are proud to be able to offer these beautiful stones for driveways, flower beds and gardens throughout Denmark.
A wide range of white stones
We offer 5 variants of the white stones. The play of colours is the same, but it is important that you choose the size that suits your particular project. Below you can see an overview, and you can of course find more information on the product pages.
White Pebbles 4-8 mm.: A small stone that is particularly suitable for footpaths and flower beds
White Pebbles 8-16 mm.: A very widely used stone. It is extremely popular for driveways in particular.
White Pebbles 16-32 mm.: A slightly larger stone that looks great in flower beds and in driveways where you want a slightly coarser look.
White Cobbles 32-64 mm.: A fairly large stone that is often used around plinths.
White Cobbles 80-120 mm.: The largest in the family of white stones, which can be used as a decorative stone or around plinths.
We also offer extra white stones
As something truly unique, Maxibag also offers extra white stones, where the proportion of light limestone is significantly higher. Stones of this quality are only found in one place in North Jutland, and we offer them in 5 different fractions:
Extra white pebbles 4-8 mm - suitable for paths and flower beds
Extra white pebbles 10–20 mm – especially popular for driveways
Extra white pebbles 16–32 mm – give a coarser look in flower beds and larger areas
Extra white cobbles 70-100 mm – decorative ornamental stones or for use along plinths
How our white stones are delivered
When you order white stones from Maxibag, they are delivered in large bulk bags that are easy for you as a customer to handle. You can work at your own pace – or alternatively cut the bag open so the contents run out where they are needed. The bulk bag can be placed exactly where you need it, as you can choose delivery by mobile forklift or crane.
Standard delivery
Our standard delivery is included in the price. Unloading takes place in the immediate vicinity of the lorry, e.g. on the pavement or in the driveway. If you live on a rural property with a turning area where the bulk bag may be placed, this is also the delivery type to choose.
Mobile forklift delivery
Our mobile forklift can get in almost anywhere. If you need delivery to a holiday home area or an allotment association, it can often be difficult for large lorries to get there. With this delivery type, you can often have the bag driven right up to where it will be used – saving yourself a lot of lifting.
Please note: A mobile forklift requires a width of 2.5 metres.
Crane delivery
Crane delivery is a smart choice if you need the delivery lifted over a hedge or another obstacle. It can also be a good solution if the maxibag needs to be placed in an area where weed membrane has already been laid.
Please note that the large crane lorries need plenty of space. All the way from the main road to the delivery address, there must be a clearance height of 4.5 metres and a width of 4 metres.
The crane lorry can reach a maxibag 6-7 metres away from the lorry.
