Large Stones / Cobble Stones
At Maxibag.dk, we offer a range of larger stones, which you can find below. Cobblestones can be used for paving when you want a look rooted in the old days that still looks fantastic today. Cobblestones can also be used decoratively, similar to large stones that are typically used for edging garden beds.
All variants are delivered in maxibags of either 1000 kg or 1500 kg. Read more about the individual variants on the product pages, or get a general overview in the text further down the page.
Note: The stone size is always specified based on its narrowest dimension.
Attractive large stones for special purposes
Cobblestones and large stones are field stones that have been sorted into different sizes. Stones are natural works of art, and no two stones are alike. Cobblestones are used for creating driveways, pathways, and fire pit areas where an extremely durable surface is desired—one that never wears out. Cobblestone paving was widely used in the past, and even today this type of surface remains popular. Both cobblestones and large stones can also be used for edging flower beds or for other decorative purposes.
Choose the right size
We offer 3 variants of cobblestones and large stones. The colour variation is the same across all variants. On the individual product pages, you can see the stones in both wet and dry conditions, where you will also find more information about each size.
Cobble Stones 60–80 mm: The smallest cobblestones we offer. Perfect for smaller areas and walkways
Cobble Stones 80–120 mm: Cobblestones ideal for larger areas with cobblestone paving
Large Stones 125–200 mm: Attractive stones for decorative purposes or for edging flower beds
How our cobblestones and large stones are delivered
When you order cobblestones and large stones from Maxibag, they are delivered in large bigbags that are easy for you as a customer to handle. You can work at your own pace – or alternatively cut open the bag so the contents flow out where they are needed. The bigbag can be placed exactly where you need it, as you can choose delivery by mobile truck or by crane.
Standard delivery
Our standard delivery is included in the price. Unloading takes place in the immediate vicinity of the truck, for example on the pavement or in the driveway. If you live on a rural property with a turning area where the bigbag can be placed, this is also the delivery type you should choose.
Mobile truck delivery
Our mobile truck can access almost anywhere. If delivery is required in a summer house area or an allotment garden, it can often be difficult for large trucks to get there. With this delivery option, the bag can often be driven directly to where it is needed – saving you a lot of heavy lifting.
Note: A mobile truck requires a width of 2.5 metres.
Crane delivery
Delivery by crane is a smart solution if the delivery needs to go over a hedge or another obstacle. It can also be a good option if the maxibag needs to be placed in an area where weed control fabric has already been laid.
Please note that large crane trucks require plenty of space. From the main road to the final delivery address, there must be a clearance height of 4.5 metres and a width of 4 metres.
The crane truck can reach a maxibag 6–7 metres away from the crane vehicle.
