Say goodbye to heavy lifting and harmful road salt. With 1000 litres of Leca® Safe you get a highly effective gritting material for winter maintenance that weighs a fraction of traditional grit. The porous expanded clay granules wedge themselves into the ice and snow surface and give immediate, safe footing for pedestrians and cyclists.
Leca® Safe stands out by not containing any salts or chemicals. It protects hedges, trees and paving stones from salt damage and causes no sore paws on dogs being walked. The meltwater carries the granules away without blocking silt traps or pipes, after which the material is collected and can be reused as a soil conditioner at treatment plants.
Because the granules are extremely light, they float on top if the snow thaws and freezes again – which means the non-slip effect is maintained through changing periods of thaw and frost.

Having Leca® Safe delivered in a bulk bag is the ideal solution if you want a larger quantity of effective ice and snow control delivered straight to your door. The bulk bag works as a practical storage solution throughout the winter, where you can easily take what you need without mess, dirt or it getting wet.

To make your winter maintenance as easy as possible, we offer three flexible delivery methods. Simply choose the method that best suits your storage area or property when ordering, so the bulk bag is placed as conveniently as possible and is not in the way.
Our delivery methods
Delivery to pavement / driveway (included in the price)
This standard delivery is always included in the price. We place your bulk bag at the kerb, on the pavement or at the start of your driveway, so it stands safely and does not block car traffic. If you have special wishes for the placement, you can always note them in the comments field when ordering.
Delivery by forklift
Would you like your bulk bag driven right up to where the Leca® Safe will be used? With a forklift we can manoeuvre the bag all the way to the outbuilding or path system, provided there is a width of at least 2.5 metres and a firm surface. This solution is also ideal for holiday home areas, allotments or narrow access roads where our large lorries cannot get to.
Delivery by crane
If your bulk bag needs to be lifted straight over a hedge, a fence, a wall or into an enclosed courtyard, crane delivery is the right choice. Our crane lorries have a reach of approx. 8 metres from the lorry, which saves you a lot of heavy manual moving.
