It is essential that the plants' roots are set in good soil where they can absorb the nutrients the plant needs. Use topsoil everywhere in your garden

Topsoil is an all-round product that can be used everywhere in your garden. It is very easy to use, as you simply spread it where you need it, and it is ready to plant in straight away. We recommend adding a little water around the plants immediately after planting. Whether you are establishing a hedge, a bed of perennials, or planting trees, vegetables or a flower bed, simply spread the topsoil and set the plants in it. The plants' roots must be placed in the topsoil.
This soil has a lovely structure, and you can almost feel the quality when you pick up a handful from the maxibag / bulk bag when the soil arrives. Anyone can work with this type of soil, whether it is your first time planting or you are an experienced gardener.

Difference between screened topsoil and topsoil

Screening soil means sifting it through a screen to separate stones from the soil itself. This gives you screened topsoil. The mesh size of the screen can vary, which is why some describe screened topsoil as 0-20 mm or 0-10 mm. With 0-20 mm there may be stones up to 20 mm (measured at the narrowest point of the stones). However, it is important that the soil contains some smaller stones, as they provide drainage in the soil. If the soil cannot get rid of water via these smaller stones, it will turn into mud and ruin the area (e.g. a lawn)

Topsoil that has not been screened may contain both smaller and larger stones. In principle, it is like taking a spade and digging into a field, where there may be stones, roots etc.

However, soils can differ in structure. There are, for example, sandy soils and clay soils, and the structure of the soil can vary greatly from area to area.

How is our soil delivered?

We have different delivery methods, and you simply choose the one that suits you best. We offer several options for delivering topsoil, so you can have your bulk bag / maxibag placed exactly where you want it. It is important to have the goods placed in the best possible spot for you, so you do not waste resources moving them, and so the maxibag is not in the way of you or your neighbours. Standard delivery

This delivery method is also called pavement / driveway, and as the name suggests, the soil can be delivered on the road, at the kerb or on your pavement. Our skilled drivers can also place the goods at the start of your driveway, so they are not standing right on the pavement.

Forklift delivery

A truck-mounted forklift is ideal if the goods need to be driven down a gravel track, into an allotment, onto granite chippings, pea gravel, grass and other places with firm ground. Our driver brings the forklift to you, takes it off the lorry and drives the goods to where you want them. It is a highly efficient delivery method that we have great success with, to the great satisfaction of our customers.

Crane delivery

If the goods need to go over a hedge or a railing / fence, this delivery method is perfect. Our skilled crane driver arrives with a lorry fitted with a crane and places the goods where you want them.
