At the same time, the carefully balanced mix of fine sand and topsoil ensures good drainage, so excess water can drain away from the surface more easily. This helps reduce the risk of standing water, unevenness and worn areas – especially after periods of heavy rain.

On heavier or clay-rich soils, it can be an advantage to apply the top dressing in several thin layers over time, so the structure gradually improves and the lawn becomes more even and hard-wearing.

IMPORTANT: Grass seed must be watered 2-3 times a day for the first 3-4 weeks. The soil must be kept constantly moist so the seeds do not dry out. Once they start to germinate, you can gradually reduce the watering.

Delivery of extra fine top dress

At Maxibag, we go to great lengths to make sure your delivery is made in the way that best suits your project. That is why we offer several different delivery methods, so your maxibag can be placed as close to the work area as possible.

If you are not going to use the entire contents straight away, it is also an advantage to have the bulk bag placed somewhere it will not be in the way.

You can choose between the following delivery methods:

Delivery to pavement / driveway

With this delivery method, the goods are delivered at the kerb, on the pavement or just inside the driveway. You are very welcome to write a detailed delivery description when ordering, so the driver can easily place your maxibag correctly.

Delivery by mobile forklift

This solution is very popular and allows delivery onto gravel, shingle, paving and holiday home plots, among others. The driver brings a special forklift with pneumatic tyres, which can drive in many places where ordinary lorries cannot get to.

The forklift is approx. 2.5 metres wide and 2.8 metres high.

Delivery by crane

If your maxibag needs to be placed over a hedge, fence or further onto the property, crane delivery is often the best solution. Here the driver lifts the bulk bag directly into place with the lorry's crane.

Our crane lorries can place your maxibag up to approx. 7 metres from the lorry.
